We are a family owned and operated greenhouse in Granville, Ohio focusing on native species trees and shrubs.
Quality genetics, sustainable agricultural practices and excellent customer service are the pillars of our farm.
Sustainability
Careful thought was placed in the passive solar design of the greenhouse. Environmental agricultural controls ensure we are only using as much water and other resources as needed. A large solar array provides power while geothermal methods provide consistent temperatures to ease our cooling and heating needs.
Seeds and cuttings are carefully sourced and we never use genetically modified seeds (GMO’s). We have implemented a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management Program (IPM) which allows us to grow pesticide free.
In the Spring of 2021, Raccoon Creek Farms became certified organic under the US National Organic Program for Hemp and Basil production.
In 2023, Raccoon Creek Farms became a licensed Tree Nursery with the State of Ohio and the current focus is strictly native species trees and shrubs.
Growing Together
Raccoon Creek Farms is a family run operation. We have brought together skills from the corporate and tech worlds and paired them with a love for growing and community.
We have had the privilege of hosting students and community members to learn more about sustainable agriculture. Our current focus is on growing native species trees and shrubs for local planting and reforestation projects.
We have and will continue to grow together.
